Bio.

Jan started her career whilst studying at Otago University in the mid eighties, and has continued to write and release material since then.

In 1993 She won Songwriter of the Year for her album It’s My Sin and went on to release Tremble (1995) and All Grown Up (2009), to critical acclaim.

Jan has toured with and supported many international acts including The Cure, Jeff Buckley, David Byrne, The Jonnys, Diesel, and Ron Sexsmith.

As well as writing and performing music, Jan is an advocate for NZ musician’s rights. A Music Publisher at Songbroker Jan also specialises in music copyright, licensing and music supervision at Aeroplane Music Services.
