Born in East London to Congolese parents where he was raised in a large family, Janga was exposed to many different musical genres from an early age. Although a fan of many artists from the 20th and 21st centuries, he has specifically cited Tupac Shakur, Michael Jackson, and The Beatles as his favourite musicians of all time.
After 18 years of living in London, Janga decided to move to Northampton where he studied as an undergraduate in the town’s well-known university. He did this whilst also continuing his quest of becoming multilingual, which has seen him spend a significant amount of time living in both France and Spain.
In late 2019, after a couple of years of rapping as a hobby, Janga decided it was time to set his sights on taking the world of music by storm, merging his experiences of different cultures to form a refreshingly unique artist.
