JANGGO

Hailing from Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, JANGGO is a multi-talented rapper, music producer, director, and editor with South Indian roots. Influenced by global icons like Pharrell Williams, Akon, and 50 Cent, along with disco and funk introduced by his mother, JANGGO masterfully balances aggressive rap energy with R&B and soul-inspired melodies.

JANGGO began rapping at 14, releasing tracks on SoundCloud by 2016. Though he participated in battle rap competitions, his focus was more on observing and learning. In 2020, he discovered his rage-driven style with the release of "Wildin," followed by “Contraflow” with long-time collaborator Aleeboyonbeat. In 2021, JANGGO released “The Curryboi” EP, featuring underground hits like "Boss Energy" and "Curryboi Sauce," which earned him a spot in Future Fresh 2021’s cypher series.

Later, JANGGO dropped "Langgar SZN," a 6-track album that led to the “Sasaux3” concert series, bridging Malaysian and international Tamil music scenes. After nearly a decade of being in the game observing, he finally decided to take matters into his own hands and started producing his own beats/instrumentals, crafting every element of his upcoming 15-track album "LsX&Os," from production to mastering. The first single, “JAMROCO,” will drop soon, showcasing both his musical and directorial talents. "LsX&Os" releases in December 2024, reflecting JANGGO's evolution as a visionary artist.
