Indie noir band Janice Prix assembled in the small industrial town of Trollhättan, Sweden. Despite their passion early on, the local music scene didn’t exactly accept their musical differences: one day, the band arrived at the studio to find fake obituaries of each member’s name nailed to the front door.

After some time in silence during the pandemic, writing and recording, Janice Prix fortifies that they’re really back with ominous anthem Turn The Lights, dark grinding single Stone Love and the unexpected cover of 80’s classic Heaven Is a Place on Earth. More singles are to come during fall and winter 2022, leading up to their much awaited sequel album. From releasing a well-received debut album in 2020 and touring South Korea and Europe, Janice Prix is convincing people both at home and abroad.

In the summer of 2020 Janice Prix released their long awaited debut album ‘Waking’ which was received with praise from blogs such as The Line of Best Fit (UK) and The Hype Magazine (UK), describing the release as “a powerful testament to compassion and political awareness from a band worth keeping tabs on”.
