Janie Bouchard

Janie Bouchard aka Moonfeather is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter and producer. Her musical influences, from Pink Floyd to Daughter through Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Aimee Mann, gives an astonishing ambient-folk rock mix, coupled with a strong sense of feeling in her playing and singing, for a breathtaking listening experience.


Her early training in music, live sound and recording techniques led her to work as an engineer, sound designer, and founding member for several major musical/performance productions. She also co-owns the Moonshine Studios, a promising adventure with her long time collaborator, Joe Belley.

She established a community of friends, musicians and industry professionals who continue to influence her and provide career support to this very day. Brad Paisley's drummer Ben Sesar played on four of her singles, including “Hope” and "Streets of Philadelphia''. Also, the Grammy Award winner Tom Coyne (1954-2017), from Sterling Sound Studios, mastered most of her singles.

More than ever, she now devotes herself to her own music, an "adventure" that will certainly bring her beyond expectations, thanks to her infectiously fascinating determination.
