Indie-rock singer-songwriter Janne Avara's music combines atmospheric melodies with thoughtful and often existential lyrics. His laconic vocal styles are reminiscent of artists like J.Karjalainen and Pariisin Kevät.
An alumni of the Helsinki Conservatory and Sibelius Academy and after training vigorously as a classical vocalist Avara found his passion in writing his own pop/rock songs in 2015 and has pursued avenues to release his own input ever since. 2021 sees him realize his musical visions with two single releases and an EP.
