A music-making team-up based in Fremont, CA: Lou is a cellist/singer and Nil a keyboard/synthesizer hobbyist. Both of us have been involved in failed studio projects before and were further inspired by our day jobs (school teachers) to create "maggot records" with the goal of circumventing the trendy social cliques and beta-male gatekeepers that dominate virtually every local music scene today. Our albums are inherently flawed, but creativity is a higher priority than presentation, and each subsequent release makes us better at recording and engineering our strange compositions.
