Oh my gosh.....Making music is so crazy. I started recording on a 4 track Cassette recorder made by Zoom and that thing was awesome. The noise floor was crazy tho. The first album I recorded was about 20 min long with about 5 songs and I still like listening to it. During the blistering hot summers in Virginia, I would stay locked in my room for hours struggling to get Guitar tracks to sound perfect on that recorder. My roommate at the time was an incredible guitar player and I wanted to be as good as he was soooo bad. He is still so talented, but I had to make my own way. Sobriety has been a huge part of my story as an artist and 8 years ago I made the decision to never use drugs or alcohol ever again. My little girls name is Zion and she is the most amazing little bundle of joy in the world. Madeleine, is my quiet-strong, unique and very loving wife, not pictured here haha! That's my super wicked musician brother. He is one of the most naturally talented people I have ever met and I play music with him all the time. We have played all over the US and we hope to play a whole bunch more. I currently want to try and make more modern sounding music. After the latest release, "Miracle", I was able to spend some time with my family in New York and my family's taste in music is having a huge influence on me. It is insane to think that I want to take a step back from my funk roots and start dipping my toes into the pop world. I have music crush on Maxwell, Bonnie Raitt, & Sting. ;)
