Jaredo

Christopher Kiyembe professionally known as Jaredo is an afro pop singer and song writer born and raised in the capital city of Liberia. Jaredo was born on august 27, 2000 unto Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kiyembe. At a young age, Jaredo developed a passion for singing which later led him to entertaining Liberians through local broken English. 2017 Jaredo signed a 10 years deal with and independent Record label located in Liberia called SOG Records. He immediately got his debut single released titled “Wait for You” . This song introduced Jaredo to the industry and helped him make his mark as the only youngest hit artist in the country. He also left a mark as the best dressed and fashion oriented Artist among his peers. Jaredo never rested but continued to work hard by releasing another single "NoBody" that also buzzed in the country for a very long period. This song got recognition in Liberia and was nominated as song of the year by MTN Liberia music awards. Jaredo ended the year 2018 with a massive effort collaborating with Ghanaian super star Kuami Eugene on a song “UR Waist” which was performed to amaze their fans at the MTN Liberia music awards hosted in Liberia Executive Pavilion. Jaredo has gotten lot of nominations and had won several awards including MLMA best new artist 2018, MLMA Best Afro Pop and best Collaboration 2019. He has been declared by the masses as the prince and face of Liberia modern afro pop.
