JaRich whose real name is Jaleel Ritchwood-Jordan is a native of Newark, NJ and has been singing since the age of five. Coming from a large family of preachers, singers and musicians on his paternal side it was only right for JaRich to embark on a journey of music, which started in the church for him and with his grandmother, Newark organist, the late Barbara Ritchwood-Hill and his elementary school music teacher, Michelle Montero, who noticed his gift and started training his voice. This training and love for music would take JaRich down a path of “wowing” audiences locally and nationally with his strong gospel infused vocals along with his charismatic performances, making his audiences and fans love him not only for his music but for his transparency of being an “average dude” “just trying to tell stories through music that stand the tests of time and speaks to the core of man!” He’s an author of a motivational book entitled “Through my Eyes” by Jaleel Ritchwood-Jordan (available exclusively through Amazon), a non profit founder (Victim to Victor Outreach), and a community activist. JaRich is a legend in the making and is one to keep eyes on! He’s an old soul! He states, fellow Jerseyan, the late Whitney Houston, as a huge musical influence on top of Gospel legend, VickieWinans, amongst others he’s studied such as Luther Vandross, Anita Baker, and countless others. JaRich is sure to become an influential figure in music.
