Born and raised in Montana, Jason DeShaw is a national award-winning speaker and singer/songwriter. He has recorded six albums, toured seven countries, and performed with Little Big Town. Behind the scenes, Jason nearly lost his life to mental illness and addiction, and is living proof that hope is worth believing in.
'Serenity in the Storm' is Jason DeShaw’s presentation - A story of hope, set to the soundtrack of his life. His journey to help others has taken him from the high schools of eastern Montana, to the lecture halls of Harvard. He promotes the merits of kindness and compassion, inspiring listeners to focus on hope instead of fear. In his first year of work he received the Champions Award in Washington D.C. for “exhibiting courage, leadership and service on behalf of all people living with mental illness.”
