Mumbai-based band Jatin Talukdar Project is the brain-child of guitarist Jatin Talukdar, who is known for his melodic riffs and his art of infusing varied musical styles into his music. Over a few years, Jatin has released his music along with videos on social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, which gained him significant popularity and accolades. After playing live initially as a solo artist, he subsequently formed a three-piece band.
In 2018, Jatin Talukdar Project released its single, “Divergent Theory” across all the music platforms accompanied by a music video with an exclusive premiere on Rolling Stone India. This release further enhanced the band’s reputation for making boundary-melting, high quality music and gained it appreciation and wide media coverage.
Jatin Talukdar Project has quickly built a reputation as a fiery, tightly-knit live band, a reputation that had them being picked as the opening act in Mumbai for German progressive metal cult band, The Ocean Collective on its 2019 India tour.
