As a Southwest Philly native with abundant creativity and much drive, Jay Cntry has dedicated himself to music since day one. Developing a sound similar to the likes of R&B greats such as, Leon Thomas, Fridayy, and SZA he is the epitome of versatility. Releasing his first solo single in March of 2024, set the tone for his future. Since the release of that single the creative has released several other singles titled, I Need You, Need It, RAW, and even an EP, titled “ Concrete Rose”. Harboring undeniable stage presence and memorable vocals, Jay Cntry has already opened for a few prominent musicians in a span of 3 years. By Setting the pace for A Boogie Wit da Hoodie at the Liacouras Center in 2021, Mariah the Scientist and Toosii in 2023, and award-winning rap star Jeezy, Jay Cntry has already claimed his spot in the limelight. With a total of 1847 listeners on I Need You, and over 1,000 on other singles, he continues to captivate his audience through his radiant style and dedication.The creative would describe his sound as a distinctive blend of traditional R&B infused with an alternative edge.
