Jay Cue is a Los Angeles based multi-faceted artist whose music ranges from Hip-Hop to R&B to Funk and much more. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Cue’s career started as a member of the collective ‘Nobody Really Knows’ (NRK), which has a loose affiliation with the Odd Future collective due to NRK member Vritra being apart of the OF sub-group The Jet Age of Tomorrow with Matt Martians. Jay Cue released his first album in 2011; Pyramid Life, which includes the song Lunchbox featuring Vince Staples. In 2013, Cue signed with Potholes Music and dropped Visions of Utopia, after which he was listed as one of Complex’s 25 New Producers to Watch Out For that year. From 2015 to 2023 he, along with other members of NRK, released music through Alpha Pup Records’ distribution. He now releases music independently.
