Jay Da Kid is an up and coming 21 year old Hip-Hop artist from Montreal, Canada whose style differs from the rest of the artists in the city.

From an early age, Jay Da Kid has been surrounded by all different kinds of Hip-Hop. Being born in 2000, and put on to Rap music at a young age by his father, Jay's musical influences vary heavily. He is mainly influenced by the work of Lil Wayne, Chief Keef, XXXTENTACION, yvngxchris and many more. At 15 years old, Jay Da Kid already had notebooks filled with lyrics, but it was only until he turned 18 that he started recording his music.

Jay’s music is made up of catchy hooks and melodic verses that compliment each other perfectly. His versatility is one his strong suits, which allows the majority of people to enjoy his music. Jay Da Kid’s unique sound and style are what makes him stand out.

In 2018 Jay Da Kid started releasing music with his friend under the name "Jay & Fine$$e" strictly on Soundcloud. But as they started gaining traction, Jay decided it would be best if the duo split up so he could start taking music seriously and focus on his craft. After nearly a year of hard work Jay Da Kid is ready to show you who he is and what he's made of!
