Singer/Songwriter/Producer Jay Delano was born on the 26th of May 1974 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
At the age of 14, he started to write his own lyrics. He got inspired by different recording artists and songwriters from the ‘70’s, ‘80’s and ‘90’s and combined different genres to find his own.
From 1997 till 2001, Jay played his role in a succesful European pop/rap project as a singer/rapper/songwriter. The group has sold over 1,5 million records across Europe and performed on major events, clubs, radio stations and live television.
After a long break from the music scene, Jay went solo in 2006 and released his first pop/rnb album ‘Close To You’. His second album ‘Here Comes The Sun’ was released in 2009.
In 2013, he took a step back from the music scene due to personal circumstances.
In the years after, Jay took his time to find his inner self and is now continuously working on new music and on several collective music projects which you can discover online.
