Hailing from Tuscaloosa, Alabama but residing in Atlanta, Jay Dot Rain is an enigmatic hip-hop emcee well-versed (no pun intended) in deep cutting bars that have given some of the best lyricists a run for their money. He gained notoriety over the years via several well received mixtapes, and has been featured in major music publications including Noisey, Fader, Vibe, and The Source. Birthed from the blog era, 'Jay Dot' saw success after releasing critically acclaimed mixtape "The Dixie Renaissance" and ultimately signed to Atlanta native, Scotty ATL's label The Cool Club. Since going independent, he has toured all over the US & Europe, with key collaborators from the likes of Stalley, Quentin Miller, and others.
