JAY-REE

‘JAY-REE’ is a 31 year old House DJ/Producer from Hertfordshire, UK.
Music runs through his veins. His love for it can be traced back to the early 2000s, listening to UK Garage and House compilations. At the young age of 14, he purchased his first ever turntables, this is when his interest for becoming a DJ kicked off.
After working in the club scene in the UK and also abroad for over 10 years he decided to study Music Production, starting out creating remixes and mashups under a different alias to play in his own sets.
In 2016 he then decided to take a break from the music scene to focus on family life.
Which now takes us up to 2020, lockdown. He knew the only way to escape reality was to dive head first back into his music, and this is where JAY-REE was officially born. Creating his own sound from influences such as; MK, Sonny Fodera, Joel Corry and music from the 90s. He tries to incorporate all these styles into his own sounds. Always being very melodic with infectious pianos and catchy vocals! Continuing to always learn, work hard and create feel good music.
