If you've been around the drum n' bass scene for a while, you've probably heard of Blu Saphir Recordings, the brainchild of Austria's Jerome Roth, better known as Jay Rome. Since its genesis, his labels has created a home for rolling, deep, liquid and techno-laced vibes from the likes of Random Movement, Muffler, Technicolour, Sequences, Paul SG, Sinistarr, Submorphics, Bungle, Bassface Sascha, Big Bud, Schematic, Dave Owen, Enei, Electrosoul System, Rafau Etamski, Hayato and so many more.

In addition to the parent label, Blu Saphir Recs has hatched two sister labels, Digital Blus, dedicated to releasing classic liquid vibes;Blu Saphir Limited, with an aim to release the freshest deep, minimal and neuro drum 'n bass.

Jay Rome has released his own music not only on his own labels but also on labels like Liquid V, Jazzsticks Recordings, Good Looking and Sidechain Recs. He also hosts a monthly Blu Saphir Radio Show, featuring the best in current and upcoming releases, and drum 'n bass from around the planet; supported by Bassdrive.com.
