When you think of commitment and transformation, who comes to mind? DAYUMJAYLEE! Born in the Bronx NY, on February 20, 1997. JayLee developed an interest in music at a very young age. She began pursuing poetry at the age of 10. She was so passionate about her craft that she began translating her poetry into songwriting. Since then, she has been immersed in the arts. She has made various changes to her image and sound. JayLee truly never stays the same, she commits to making improvements to her career at all times. She has collaborated with well-known artists and comedians. She was a candidate for "America’s Got Talent" and had her story aired on News 12 (NYC).
JayLee harnesses the ability to incorporate new school sounds with timeless substance. She has no limit to what music she’s capable of making. She can make music for both English and Spanish-speaking audiences. She also strives to deliver versatility, character, and poise with every record she records. She is a raw artist who opens up about the struggles of growing up in NYC with disadvantages. Her parents migrated from the Dominican Republic to look for a better life before she became "JayLee". Although she grew up in troublesome environments and was raised in poverty, she made something out of her circumstances. She dedicated herself to creating a better lifestyle for herself and her family. JayLee exemplifies perseverance and beating the odds!
