Born and bred in the bustling streets of East Jakarta, Jazeed Parama, who goes by Jazeed, laces every note he plays with his profound admiration for groove. Since middle school, Jazeed has built his own peace of mind in the midst of a bustling city through his guitar and the keys of his piano, drawing energy from luminaries like Stevie Wonder and John Mayer.
September 2021 marked a kickoff point in his musical career. Channeling his collaborative spirit, Jazeed released "City Lights," a track from the "Pop di Kota" compilation album that celebrates Jakarta's enchanting nocturnal glow. The track was written and performed with fellow Jakarta artist, TANJUNG. His second release, "Tanda Tanya," featuring Jakarta’s own singer-actor Alya Syahrani, set the stage for his EP "Rasa?" signaling new creative heights.
February 18, 2022, saw Jazeed take a step further into his musical journey with the release of his debut EP, titled “Rasa?”. This solo inaugural EP was a tapestry of progressive soul and nuanced R&B, written, sung, and recorded by himself in the comfort of his home studio. This debut EP was a particularly profound experience for Jazeed, where he found himself collaborating with Indonesia's legendary indie musician, the late Ade Paloh. The track "Rasa?" explores the labyrinth of his intricate emotions—pondering his own decisions, while Ade Paloh's heartfelt, poignant poetry bookends the track.
