JazzGarcelle (Jasmine G. Leonard) earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Point Park University in ,an educator in the Penn Hills school district. A Pop/R&B independent music artist with her debut CD being released later this year. She cultivates her sound from a unique background of music. She began singing Gospel in the church, plays and musicals in school. Working the stage the way a model works a runway, Jazz is an emerging artist striving for the top! Jazz Garcelle has performed at numerous shows, banquets e.i. Motown Review at August Wilson Theater,Club Cafe,SWAN DAY May 2016,National Anthem at the Pittsburgh Bullets Semi-Professional Basketball team,Headliners Showcases with JAMZ Avenue music group, The New Hazlitt Theater Sound check, Mojave African Arts fest, Pittsburgh Hurricane Harvey Relief Concert October 2017 presented by CEA to name a few.In 2017 she earned an Indie Music grant from the Goode People’s Group and Martin Guitar. She wants to not only make an impact and entertain with her music but use it as a platform to start a foundation for young people studying the arts particularly vocal music,production,and songwriting in the future. Garcelle enjoys listening to music,dancing, plans to pursue stage acting and likes working out.
