Five voices in one harmony - in one word: Jazzation

In 2019 Jazzation won first place at Northern Europe’s premier a cappella contest at Aarhus Vocal Festival; in 2015 the group’s recording ’Beautiful Love’ was nominated for Independent Music Award, and won the audience award named ’Vox Populi’. In 2015 Jazzation won A Cappella Award at Leipzig International Acappella Contest, and not only the first prize was given to the Hungarian ensemble by the jury, but also the Audience Award. In 2014 Jazzation won first place at Winter Vocal Festival in Pinerolo, Italy, in 2013 at Vokal.Total a cappella contest the Ward Swingle Award and the first prize was awarded to the group in jazz category.

As it is depicted above this multi-award-winning acapella group from Budapest has already wound its way into international jury’s hearts in Graz, Pinerolo, Leipzig and Aarhus, but what they feel most proud is having shared the stage several times with wonderful vocal groups and experts from all around the world (e.g. Bobby McFerrin, The Real Group, The King's Singers). While authentic vocal jazz is their main profile, Jazzation also performs vocal world music inspired by different cultures, as well as numerous original arrangements.
