A dubstep trio that settled into a lineup consisting of vocalist AndrEa, MC BarBie (also trombone and effects), and DJ Xperimentalist (also drums and effects), Jazzsteppa are a live act within a scene driven by producers. They debuted in 2008 with short-form releases on <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Hotflush%22">Hotflush</a> and MG77. “Big Swing Sound” and “Alpha” were issued, respectively, on <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Studio+Rockers%22">Studio Rockers</a> and Police in Helicopters in 2009, while a self-titled CD -- predominantly a compilation -- appeared later in the year.
