Born too late to fully commit to rap the likes of N.W.A., Tupac, and The Notorious B.I.G., born too soon to make every song a melodic rap or singing ballad, born just in time to do a little bit of everything. Whether it be utilizing his lyrical and technical ability, flow, and multi-syllabic rhyme schemes to tell a story or just have fun, or incorporate melodies with or without AutoTune cranked up to the max, with Jcool there is a guarantee to be something for everybody. However, developing a taste in this California native may be a challenge for those who are not lovers all music, because Jcool swears by making the kind of music he wants to listen to himself, and it's never the same thing all the time. By his pre-teens, he was heavily invested into hip hop, which is why you can probably hear influence from titans like Lil Wayne, Tech N9ne, and Eminem if you try hard enough. Regardless of whether or not you can find enjoyment in everything, you can be sure that when you hear “Okay you ready? It’s Jcool Baby!” that you are going to be in for a ride. Where you end up though, will be a surprise every time.
