JD Willis

From the banks of Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay hails a new sound from singer/songwriter JD Willis.  
A touch of Texas twang, a dash of Kentucky songwriting, blended with Maryland’s Rock & Roll. JD is no stranger to the music scene. Since 2013, Willis has been playing in major cities and surrounding areas all over the East coast down to Nashville, TN. Willis has had the opportunity to play opening slots for various national acts such as: Montgomery Gentry, Joe Diffie, David Allen Coe, Chase Rice, Love and Theft, Lindsey El, Brett Eldredge and Shooter Jennings. As a founding member of his former band, the group won several contests which led them the opportunity to showcase for Sony Music Group in Nashville, Tennessee and the Meadowlands in New Jersey.

In 2019, Willis made the decision to branch off and become an Independent artist. Focused on becoming a songwriter, Willis released both an EP and Single in 2020. He was also been featured on 94.7 WDSD's "Nashville Next" podcast. In 2021, he showcased a new sound with his release "Fool". He did this once more with this latest release, "Smoke 'Em Out".
