French born, London based Jake Delorme's relationship with music started when he was just 9 years old, when he started taking piano lessons. During his teenage years he also learned how to play the guitar and bass guitar.
In 2018, inspired by artists including Martin Garrix and Avicii, Jake started producing his own tracks, and became JDL. His style, inspired by the Tropical and Melodic House genres of Kygo and Klingande, instantly puts listeners in a good mood thanks to catchy melodies, energetic drops and emotional vocals, which combine acoustic sounds and electronic synths.
In 2019, he released his first tracks on Spotify, with 'First Time' gaining over 25,000 streams. In 2020, he released three more tracks, 'Take My Hand', 'Meant to Be' and 'Energy' .
2021 is set to be even better for JDL, with his track 'Lighting Up The Sky' releasing in April.
