Often accompanying her introspective lyrics with melancholic vocals to convey the comfort and pain associated with the torturing adventure of love—and life in general, Indie pop singer/songwriter Jeanherline Santiago, aka Jea, often colors her recordings with her music playfellow and co-producer Purple Mints. Jea began composing songs at the age of 14 as a way to ease the people she cares for from hardships, as well as to release concealed emotions thus sharing her dreamily produced songs to music-sharing sites as a young teen in 2020.

Her very first single "unworthy", a spontaneously made song that was first thought of as a joke and a piece of experimental pop music released under Dreamify Records has given her a sneak at the window of opportunity to reach more audience, gain motivation, and furtherly continue her musical journey. Jea's listeners may make their minds go wild and have their own piece of analysis for each song and bop their heads whilst playing the music. Owing to the fact that she believes, that absolutely—art is pretty subjective and has a communicative purpose.
