Jean Baptiste Loussier

Jean-Baptiste Loussier, son of composer Jacques Loussier, grew up between Bach, jazz, and the Miraval studios, where he witnessed sessions with Pink Floyd and Sade. Trained at the Paris Conservatoire and the École Normale de Musique, he wrote his first soundtrack at 13, recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra.

As a composer for film, television, and advertising, he has worked with Dani, Chanel, and Armani. With singer Jody Sternberg, he now reimagines Bach in Back to Bach, an electro-pop project paying tribute to both the master and his father.

Jean-Baptiste Loussier, fils du compositeur Jacques Loussier, grandit entre Bach, le jazz et les studios Miraval, où il croise Pink Floyd ou Sade. Formé au Conservatoire de Paris et à l’École Normale de Musique, il signe dès 13 ans sa première bande-son, enregistrée par le London Symphony Orchestra.

Compositeur pour le cinéma, la télévision et la publicité, il a aussi collaboré avec Dani, Chanel ou Armani. Avec la chanteuse Jody Sternberg, il revisite aujourd’hui Bach dans Back to Bach, projet électro-pop en hommage au maître et à son père.
