A tight groove, a crystal-clear sound and an immersive listening experience are what Jean-Marc strives to achieve when making music. He blends instruments reminiscing from the classic rock era with modern sounds and production techniques. His inspiration to write songs and record his compositions was born out of the discovery that music was a powerful communication channel, sometimes more efficient than language. “When words fail, music speaks” is his favorite quote. He looks at music as a universal connector and adept translator. “You may not speak the same language”, he says, “but to understand the message and mood behind a song, you don’t have to”. Having had more success reaching out to people through music, he developed intricate arrangement techniques over the years, in which he layers sounds and shapes the song structure into a compelling musical story that takes you on a ride across his rich and complex universe.
