Beginning his musical journey at the age of fourteen, Jed would often find solace writing down his thoughts in attempt to vent a growing frustration and sense of loneliness which stemmed from being tormented by his peers at school. "I will prove them wrong about me" was the mantra that he lived by throughout his teenage years.
Being inspired by artists in the Hip-Hop genre such as Eminem and Tupac Shakur was what lead Jed to first dip his toe into the art of Rhythm and Poetry or 'Rap' as it's popularly known. Mesmerized by the intricate storytelling ability employed by these titans of the industry filled him with a deep obsession to discover his own potential and he has been exceeding expectations ever since.
In the years following High-School, Jed lost no momentum when it came to to writing down his unique perspectives, transforming his best ideas into songs and using them to promote himself online under the pseudonym 'Afterlife'.
In 2017, a few years after moving from his small hometown to the city of Melbourne, he released his first project: A seven track EP titled 'Life Of Rhyme'.
In 2022, Jed decided to release future music under his own name as a way to reflect the honest nature which is always evident in his craft.
The same year, he released his first single 'The Ride' featuring Pop Duo 'Lunacy'.
In early 2023, he released his follow up single 'Why Not'.
With over 25 additional tracks in the works, Jed appears intent on pushing it for another 15 years.
