GRAΞMΞ LLOYD aka JEDI SLANG has been writing songs since he was 12 and picked up his music production roots from 16 onward. After being influenced by artist’s from abroad and home alike in the realms of Hip-Hop, Kwaito, Dub, Reggae and Cape Town’s local blend of electronica his pallet for music is distinctively developed and these influences can be heard in his authentic blend of Hip-hop.

With a back catalog of tracks “JEDI SLANG” has only just begun to formulate his signature sound with many a song still to be made. Teaming up with MAD HONEY records from a conceptual point of view this hurry up and wait aesthetic can only gain popularity as the sound evolves.

KODA has a slightly less introverted tone than past releases trying to gain the simplistic but intriguing production styles of groove armada and Gorillaz this sonic pallet might be something refreshing.

After honing his craft in the underground hip hop realm with various releases under a variety of different aliases JEDI’s latest album “KODA” has reached the equilibrium between something authentic and unique with a broader appeal.
