Jeff Jones

Jeff Jones is an international music icon and a Juno award winning artist. A member of the first incarnation of RUSH, Jeff plays with some of the greatest bands in modern music, from BURTON CUMMINGS & THE CARPET FROGS to TOM COCHRANE & RED RIDER. Jeff's talent was discovered at an early age: his Mom used to say he was "one kick-ass bass player.” His talent is undeniable, as a bass player and vocalist, displaying a great depth of versatility. Jeff is a musician's musician and one of the nicest persons one would ever meet in not just this business, but anywhere in the world.

With "NAKED IN THE CHURCH", a song about a man who discovers the true meaning of life, Jeff goes back to his spiritual roots, to OCEAN, and the song "PUT YOUR HAND-IN-THE-HAND."

50 years ago, the single by the band OCEAN raced up the Billboard charts – that song was the first ever CANCON song to hit Number #2. Jonesy (as he is affectionately known) was excited to revisit this classic on its 50th anniversary, a song that has been covered by some of the greatest singers of all time, including Ann Murray, Elvis and Joan Baez to name a few. Produced by Juno award-winner Ken Friesen this modern cover version is a powerful, up-lifting song for all, a song much needed in our world today: "Take a look at yourself and you can look at others differently”
