Jefferson Yaw Frempong-Manson is a 24 year old Amsterdam-based singer/songwriter with Ghanaian/Indonesian roots.
Jefferson records and performs RnB-pop music with soul, afro, house and rock influences. His music translates his experiences finding his place in society, love and his self-identity, into music with the energy, sensitivity and generosity of spirit that reflects his character .
At the age of 15, he was selected as a 'Talent' for Disney similar to the Mickey Mouse Club in the US which included Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. In this role, Jefferson acted in TV shows such as international hit series' Just Like Me' and 'Alex & Co' sang on tour internationally and presented Disney shows and events.
In 2022, all four judges battled to recruit Jefferson to their team in his televised audition on The Voice of Holland, before scandal led to the show being cancelled days later without airing episodes showing him progress to the latter stages of the competition.
Jefferson released his first single ' <a href="spotify:album:6MO3m9VSzjwXDomMZXbdbi" data-name="Officer Don't Let Go">Officer Don't Let Go</a> ' in 2022. It quickly reached over 500K streams on Spotify and he performed it live on NPO2 Radio, the biggest radio station in the Netherlands.
Now, Jefferson is about to release new music throughout summer 2023 followed by live performances around the Netherlands and the UK running through to mid-2024.
