I started playing guitar when I knocked out 7 teeth in the ocean at 16 years old. I played to recover. The healing process knocked the stupid and lazy out of me. Almost immediately after learning to play, I wanted to record with anyone who had a microphone and some patience. I didn't start publicly releasing music until I was 26 years old. The first release was an album I recorded in a rich guys spare bedroom. He charged me $35 an hour to record whatever thoughts I had. I grew addicted to sound and quality. Over ten albums later, Im still chasing that sweet sound and vision. I sometimes produce and record on my own; I sometimes write songs and let other people take charge. Recently, I moved to Tennessee from California because my plumbing truck was stolen and was stripped of all tools that took me to work. Im 40 years old now, and interested in what the next couple years hold. Will it be the best music I make?
