Born and raised in the vibrant streets of East London, Jegz is a rising star in the music industry, captivating audiences with his unique blend of R&B. Hailing from a Sri Lankan and Tamil-speaking household, Jegz' multicultural background shines through in his music, adding a distinct flavour to his sound.

Drawing inspiration from the legendary production styles of 2000s R&B icon Timbaland, Jegz honed his skills as a producer, crafting beats with hard-hitting rhythms and infectious melodies. As his musicality evolved, Jegz ventured into singing and songwriting, taking inspiration from contemporary R&B acts like Bryson Tiller and Drake. His smooth and soulful vocals, coupled with his signature bounce-infused beats, gave birth to a genre he calls RNBOP—a fusion of R&B and Hip-Hop elements.
