Jelly Crystal is a Swedish artist moving freely between soul, glam rock, funk and art pop — a magnetic, shape-shifting presence whose work merges storytelling, aesthetics and performance into a carefully constructed artistic universe.

First introduced through the theatrical world of his debut album ’Freak Show’ (2021), he quickly established himself as one of Sweden’s most distinctive voices, earning the Manifest Award for ”Composer of the Year”. With Prince (2023), his vision expanded further — a bold and cinematic record that later won “Pop Album of the Year” at the Manifest Awards. The 2025 EP ’Delicious Delusional’ continued to deepen his world-building, blending nostalgic pop songwriting with playful experimentation.

In spring 2026, Jelly Crystal released his third studio album, 'Absolute Summer Music' (Hoopdiggas Recordings) — his most personal and stripped-back work to date. Moving toward a more raw and transparent expression, the album draws from ’90s pop, grunge and classic songwriting while preserving the cinematic atmosphere and dreamlike imagery that have become central to the Jelly Crystal universe. For the first time, Filip Johnson steps into sharper focus, allowing the music to reflect both the artist and the person behind the project with new emotional directness.
