Born in Liberia during the war to a Liberian mother. Jels Quiah moved to America in 1999 to Philadelphia when he was 5 years old.
Jels started a dance/party group, OSB when he was 16 and started recording his own music subsequently at the age of 14
In 2016, Jels released a song called "On a Monday" that got about 100,000 views on VEVO, and made its rounds around some of top the blogs.
Jels took time off music to finish his degree in Business Marketing and Public Relations.
In between breaks Jels recorded a song called 10k. 2018, Jels released the song. The songs went viral and got over 1 million streams on Soundcloud.
Jels is currently working on releasing his next single. His next songs are a blend of his roots, afrobeats R&b & a touch of Hip-hop
