Jemzilla

Jemzilla is a 19 year old singer and songwriter from the North West of England. She started singing at the age of 4 and decided from a young age that she wanted to make her dreams of being a singer reality. Jemzilla was born in the Middle East, later moving to Wales and lastly moving to the North West of England.

She performed as a child; singing, dancing (cheer dance, ballet etc) and being a part of performances like Hairspray. At the age of 6, Jemzilla sang in front of 800 plus people at one of her schools in the Middle East. However, as she grew older, she found it harder to feel confident singing. She also found understanding music theory and sheet music hard to learn, and still does to this day. But now, Jemzilla has created her own music and goes with what she feels sounds good, not what may be seen as 'correct', and has become her own artist.

Jemzilla has released 4 songs so far. Her songs have been played on 7 radios in the UK so far and played in over 40 countries in less than 5 months. Dug my own grave was also a record of the week on Fylde Coast Radio, played on BBC music introducing, and was first performed live by Jemzilla on the 28th of February this year.

Jem has a real passion for making music that expresses her own feelings, hoping that others can relate. Her music is constantly evolving.
