Jen Dixon is a UK singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the industrial North East coast of England who blends mature indie-pop themes with soaring, catchy and relatable songs.
Jen has been championed by Radio X legend John Kennedy, BBC Introducing‘s Nick Roberts and Shakk, cracked the boards at Middlesbrough Town Hall’s prestigious Main Hall, O2 Academy and City Hall in Newcastle, and been featured in the Daily Star‘s Rising Stars Top 50.
Jen cut her teeth behind the drum kit on her local live circuit and was lucky enough to record at Abbey Road Studios, perform at Green Man Festival and support Christopher Owens on his UK tour, all at an early stage. She taught herself guitar whilst studying for a degree in Music Technology and started writing her own songs during the pandemic. In 2020 she released her debut, self-produced single ‘Falling Into You’ followed by a string of increasingly accomplished releases which quickly secured her reputation as an up-and-coming talent with an equally commendable work ethic. Now with a full backing band of similarly talented musicians the singer’s debut EP is the logical next step, as she seeks to broaden her horizons both musically and geographically, and will cement her as one of the UK’s most exciting independent acts.
