Jena Douglas has been a singer/songwriter for over 30 years, has an AA in music from Santa Barbara City College and a BA from University California Santa Barbara in music. She wrote the how-to/self-help book called, Change The World-Write Your Song! Fundamentals And Beyond For The Aspiring Singer/Songwriter Book I. She teaches voice, songwriting, guitar, piano, bass, drums, performance and uses her skills as a seasoned musician and parent to teach girls for the non-profit called, Girls Rock SB. Jena Douglas performs with a couple of bands, one band playing songs made famous by Linda Ronstadt called, The Stone Phoneys and when adding originals to that line up, Jena and The Stone Phoneys. She also sings, plays bass and guitar her original songs with a songwriting group called, Sister Velvet.
