Entering mid-2014, a campus friend's conversation between Pupu (vocal) and Lukas (bass) resulted in an agreement on the references to the music heard at that time. The idea of ​​fad without calculation then appeared to try to be expressed in a band. In order to complete the band formation, Boris (guitar) and Lutfi (drums) who were still friends from the same campus were invited to join, with the target of achieving only playing at campus events. Starting with covering songs from DOWN, MOTORHEAD, PANTERA and MUNCIPAL WASTE, this collegiate friendship collective is determined to fill campus events. Musical activities for JENGGALA slowly became addictive and led to the immeasurable idea of ​​moving on to the next stage of becoming an album. In the midst of this process, JENGGALA lost two of its personnel, Boris and Lutfi, who had to return to their respective areas of origin. And finally, in early 2020, Usenk joined to occupy the drum position. Then in early 2021 William was invited to play guitar as well as complete the current JENGGALA formation. The long wait of 7 years began with the release of the single 'Challenge the Distance'. This song is a gateway for JENGGALA to enter the realm of music as well as introductions before releasing a full album.
