Singer-songwriter Jenn Em (née Jennifer Michelle Malsch) grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. Music was part of her life from the start: she began playing piano at four, writing songs at six, and violin at seven. She was always singing.

A lifelong creative fascinated by what makes people connect, Jenn studied Psychology at UCLA, where she also worked in a neuroscience lab researching creativity and collaboration. She graduated summa cum laude in 2024 with a minor in Music Industry.

Her musical journey eventually led her to producer FredWreck and Snoop Dogg. After collaborating with Snoop on several Christmas songs, he signed Jenn to Death Row Records. She released her debut single, “I’m Ready,” in 2024, with more music on the way in 2026.
