Jenny penned her first lyrics a few days after quitting her job in 2023. She feels like a little cicada, emerging to discover iridescent wings and a humming voice that's healing her and carrying her into joy. Jenny's been a stay-at-home mom, a scuba shop owner, a middle school teacher, a corporate communications and marketing director, a women's circle leader, an editor, writer, poet, storyteller and now lyricist. She loves a good story. She loves tiny, happy things. She's learning to be one of those tiny, happy things and to sing her stories.
