Canek Perez (Pronounced, Keh-NEK), born 2009, is an American music producer and YouTuber. His music focuses on mostly electronic type music. His first songs were based on a sub-genre of Hip Hop called "Phonk". He dropped his last Phonk based song, "Friday Phonk", and has since stopped making Phonk and focused on making, "actual good music", like music under the genre of Electronic, Dance, Indie, and other types music.
Canek has been playing music for a while. He knows how to play various instruments such as the Guitar, Piano and Keyboard, Viola, Ukulele, Trumpet and the Mellophone. The first instrument he started to play was the guitar, which he started playing at the age of 6 when his father got him a small guitar and taught him how to play "La Bamba". At the age of 8, his family got a keyboard which he started playing. Canek was technically self taught on piano and has never been to a piano lesson. He made his own warm ups by trying to copy what he did on guitar. Although he is not a pro he knows to to play many songs. Canek also watched videos on Music Theory and gained some knoledge but not as much as more advanced people. Canek started making music after going to some digital music classes and started posting his music on online music platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube.
