Jeremy for King

There’s a new King in town - one who seems to have missed the memo that surface level drivel need reign supreme. Jeremy for King offers music that’s not afraid to think or pry beneath the surface, with a beautiful blend of string-infused Chamber Pop, Indie Rock, Indie Folk, and New Americana that proves that neither a pop sensibility nor a desire to seek substance need compromise the other.

From the first sounds of the first track, the musicality is obvious as is the fact that Jeremy for King will be taking us on an introspective journey.

Frontman Jeremy Gates moved to Steamboat Spring, CO where he was able to hone the Jeremy for King debut album sound working with mixing/mastering pro Mike Wyatt (Lewis Capaldi).

The music seems more a landscape of questions than answers, though the latter often exist in hints and revelations. Concepts of god, of human relations, of purpose and being are all touched upon. The songs range from near pure rock to almost classical but always with that strand of uniquely Jeremy for King sensibility that ties it all together into a cohesive unit including creative thought-provoking lyrics and unique harmonies and string arrangements. With its meaningful melding of styles and themes, Jeremy for King is set up to be an important voice in the musical conversation.
