A songwriter, and Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc band member from Kamloops B.C, Jeremy Kneeshaw's music draws on his strengths as a multi-instrumentalist - often recording with guitar, piano, drums, bass, banjo, and more. As an Indigenous rocker who loves the art of storytelling, Kneeshaw's lyrics hold plenty of inward reflection, and outward inspiration.
Kneeshaw released his first album at 19, the self titled 'Jeremy Kneeshaw Album', with all instruments recorded himself. In 2016, he won the Akedamia Jazz/Funk/Fusion award for his song 'Summer Love', and was given a spot at the Akedamia Awards Ceremony at the Rosebowl Stadium in LA.
Since then, Kneeshaw has released several albums, including the single, 'You Know What I Mean', which was chosen as a Subway Fresh Track on 98.3 CIFM in Kamloops. His fourth album, titled ‘4th Try’ was released to all streaming platforms in 2024, with a fifth album expected in 2025.
