Jeremy Thomas

Jeremy is a Truckee California based guitar player, singer, and songwriter. Growing up in Marin County and the East Bay, he has been immersed in the Northern California music scene since attending high school at Marin Academy in the late 80's and early 90's. Spending many of his childhood and early adult years living and travelling internationally throughout Asia and South America, he expanded his musical tastes and vocabulary beyond his folk / rock / reggae roots and developed a deep love for world music influenced compositions and songwriting. This is showcased in Jeremy's first album "Little Diamonds", an eclectic and original blend of acoustic and electric folk, rock, world music, and fingerstyle guitar. Jeremy also plays lead guitar and is a songwriting contributor for the band The Johnson Party, and regularly collaborates with other local musicians in the small but vibrant music scene in Truckee and North Lake Tahoe. He is an experienced ski and whitewater rafting guide, a whitewater kayaker, and outdoor enthusiast; most of his songs have been composed and performed next to rivers, around the campfire, or in ski lodges.
