Jerijah is an underground artist from Long Beach, California. From a very young age, he always knew he was different, though there were many things he didn’t understand, and many struggles he had to endure. Often outcasted by the world he found himself in, he found his only solace in the art of singing, creating music, working with sounds, and writing- his primary modes of expression. He discovered his own voice and kept going.
Working with nothing but a broken Alienware laptop, and borrowing his mom’s broken Beats by Dre every night (bless her heart), Jerijah would sit alone in the dark in the early morning hours and let his imagination run free by way of sound. He learned to produce his own tracks and record himself on his own, and before long, he began posting dark, enigmatic, moody pop songs to SoundCloud in 2014- a blend of alternative, pop, and r&b, to which he also took heavy influence from 80s synthwave, and 90s garage. He kept making music and posting it slowly throughout high school, mostly writing about his experiences in his life. To this day, Jerijah follows the same idea of being brutally honest in his art and following his heart. He is currently creating his first full length body of work.
