JESPER is an artist that love to make people dance. At age 17 he started DJing, and soon after he was playing some of the biggest clubs around Oslo. Eventually the driven young man was asked to be the live DJ for artists such as Morgan Sulele and Robin og Bugge. As disc jockey, JESPER choose songs dependent on both his own mood and the mood of the partygoers he plays for. However, the most important is always to make the floor the place to be.
When it comes to his own music, he likes to create songs about everyday experiences or stories he has picked up from others. Also, he uses his years of DJ experience as inspiration to make catchy, fun and (of course) danceable tunes. What actually inspired him to start out record scratchin’ (or knob turning?) was the fact that he enjoyed being the life of the party. He learned that steering the music = steering the party, which we all know to be true – right?
